La piattaforma – in puro stile perpetual beta – si è rinnovata più volte, in un’ottica di integrazione di servizi e funzioni avanzate, raccolta nella sezione Linkedin Labs.
Una di quelle più interessanti è senza dubbio Linkedin InMaps.
Questo servizio consente di visualizzare la propria rete sociale (o come si dice in ambito social media, il proprio grafo sociale) in maniera interattiva.
Una volta fatto il login, il sistema provvede a costruire il proprio social network che può essere navigato e zoomato. Inoltre la rappresentazione prova a raggruppare i nodi in clique rappresentate con colori diversi che tocca all’utente definire quali sono questi gruppi.
Una volta prodotta la mappa, può essere automaticamente condivisa sullo stesso Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter.
