Dopo qualche giorno dalla visione, così da consentire alle idee di sedimentarsi, ho deciso di dire la mia sulla sesta stagione di Black Mirror, la visionaria serie di Charlie Brooker sul nostro rapporto malato con la tecnologia.
A vedere le reazioni in giro, l’emozione prevalente è lo sconcerto: ma che stagione è questa? Che fine ha fatto Black Mirror? Dov’è la critica alla tecnologia? Ma cosa è saltato in mente a Brooker di fare una serie weird/horror?
In realtà dal mio punto di vista la nuova stagione è la maturazione perfetta della strategia narrativa di Black Mirror.
Con le prime cinque stagioni abbiamo guardato una serie televisiva che dava una rappresentazione distopica del nostro mondo, con Bandersnatch abbiamo cominciato ad interagire con la serie televisiva, con la sesta stagione siamo diventati parte integrante della serie televisiva. In pratica la trama siamo noi.
Altrimenti perchè allora iniziare la stagione con un episodio che racconta come una persona qualunque diventa la protagonista negativa di una serie televisiva? Perchè la puntata successiva racconta delle nostre ossessioni per le serie crime? Perchè tutti gli altri episodi sono storie horror e non fanstascientifiche? Perchè questa ossessione con l’estetica vintage? (anche in Beyond the sea, che racconta di astronavi e repliche di esseri umani).
La risposta è semplice: perchè non stiamo più guardando la trama, noi SIAMO la trama.
