I codici QR (o QR code), sono dei tag grafici bidimensionali che servono per inserire informazioni relative alle URL su carta o comunque su supporti cartacei, così che attraverso uno scatto con telefonini di ultima generazione, sia possibile collegarsi col web e inserire approfondimenti internet anche sulla carta.

Ormai si cominciano un po’ a vedere anche sulla stampa periodica (riviste), di solito accompagnando le pubblicità, oppure i più geek mettono questo codice sul proprio biglietto da visita.

L’infografica qui in basso rappresenta i principali risultati di una ricerca sull’uso dei QR code svolta dalla società di comunicazione Austin & Williams, dalla quale risulta che l’uso è ancora limitato, ma in crescita.
