Facebook & Co. Una giornata all’insegna dei social network sites

Ieri sono stato ospite della giornata di riflessione e analisi dei social network sites che ha preso le mosse dalla pubblicazione del libro Facebook & Co. Sociologia dei social network sites, scritto da Laura Iannelli dell’Università di Sassari.

L’incontro, che ha avuto luogo all’Università Kore di Enna e organizzato da Gevisa La Rocca, docente di Sociologia dei processi culturali,  in collaborazione con gli studenti di EnKore, ha avuto l’obiettivo di parlare di Facebook e degli altri siti di social network, provando a vedere punti di forza e di debolezza, senza facili entusiasmi e neppure istanze apocalittiche.

Il preside della Facoltà di Scienze Economiche e Sociali, ospite dell’incontro, Giacomo Mulè, ha aperto i lavori evidenziando come i social network possono essere considerati come una delle forme che assume la modernità contemporanea e le relazioni sociali.

Il mio intervento è stato da pars destruens: ovvero ho presentato una riflessione contro Facebook, artificio retorico che mi ha permesso di parlare del ruolo dei social netork nelle argomentazioni dei critici del Web 2.0, tema di un mio recente Ignite, ma che ho sviluppato più in dettaglio.

Sergio Severino, docente della Facoltà, ha invece intrecciato un ragionamento che ha visto citati Giddens, Moscovici e McLuhan e diverse ricerche di cui è autore, per discutere sul ruolo dei social network nella socialità contemporanea.

Infine, l’autrice del volume (nonchè amica) Laura Iannelli, ha affrontato per grandi linee le principali riflessioni e argomentazioni alla base del suo volume, con una digressione interessante sul ruolo di Facebook nella politica.
Interessante la descrizione che ha fatto della sfera pubblica di Facebook, che ha definito “irritativa“.

  5. We have the same issue on an Intel NUC rwith 11th gen Core i7 CPU running Windows 11.

    Tried a few times, the same thing happened. I still have this issue 3 months later.
    I built my system and have 65gb RAM, 24gb Graphics Card teamed
