Se fossero stati altri tempi avrei potuto titolare questo post: “il diavolo e l’acqua santa: dalla voce del capitalismo alla voce del comunismo”
Ma siamo nel 2014 e le cose sono profondamente diverse (e meno male aggiungerei)
Tanto per cominciare subito l’anno nel modo migliore, oggi sono stato coinvolto su due diverse testate giornalistiche: su Radio24 e sull’Unità

Radio 24: Internet ci ruba il tempo?

Stamattina sono stato ospite della trasmissione radiofonica 24 Mattina in onda su Radio 24 a parlare di una ricerca pubblicata qualche settimana fa che sosteneva che Internet ruba ogni giorno due ore del nostro tempo.

Oltre al sottoscritto, coordinati dalla conduttrice Anna Migliorati (in attesa del ritorno del conduttore “storico” Alessandro Milan), Enrico Pagliarini giornalista (e conduttore della trasmissione 2024 sempre su Radio24) e Lia Celi, autrice televisiva, conduttrice della curiosa trasmissione “Celi: mio marito“.

L’Unità: L’ascesa del web visuale e i selfie

Sempre oggi 2 gennaio in edicola c’è il primo numero dell’anno de L’Unità (il glorioso quotidiano fondato da antonio Gramsci).
Un enorme paginone pieno di selfie vi aspetta a pagina 14 con un articolo a firma mia dal titolo “Selfie: l’inarrestabile ascesa del web visuale”
L’articolo mi è stato commissionato da Luca Landò, direttore dell’Unità, in seguito a un seminario che ho tenuto qualche giorno fa proprio nella redazione del quotidiano.

L’attacco l’ho fatto sui selfie – giusto per catturare l’attenzione – ma il contenuto parla dei motivi del successo del web visuale: ovvero perché su Facebook i contenuti più postati/condivisi sono foto? Qual è il social media con il maggior tasso di crescita (si: Instagram e Tumblr), ma soprattutto, come giustificare il successo di foto, infografiche, vignette eccetera? Solo narcisismo? (ovviamente no…)

    dunque, in relaizone alla trasmissione su Radio 24: “Internet ci ruba il tempo?” e alla ricerca della quale si parla, avrei un paio di riflessioni, così di getto, che mi piace condividere.
    Forse mi manca qualche dettaglio ma non capisco perché si parla della tecnologia quasi sempre ignorando che dietro l’utilizzo c’è sempre un Chi, un essere umano, con tutto quello che questo comporta, cioè un iinsieme di aspetti che nel momento in cui vengono lasciati sullo sfondo o ignorati portano inevitabilmente a parlare di cose completamente campate per aria o comunque arbitrarie.
    Ad esempio, la questione del “perdere tempo”, ma che significa? come è fatto, nella esperienza viva di ciascuno di noi, il perdere tempo? quali vissuti comporta? perché uno spostamento in autobus a Roma deve essere passato in modo scontato come una “perdita di tempo?” … potremmo continuare ma è chiaro che la questione fondamentale, mi pare, è che ne è di un essere (umano) nel suo stare con sé, una questione, mi pare, che va ben oltre il problema dell’impiego della tecnologia tant’è che già lo zio Martin (nel senso di Hedegger) e dopo di lui diversi altri studiosi hanno tentato di sviluppare il tema della “noia”. In tempi più recenti il bel lavoro di Fusaro “Essere senza tempo” riprende di nuovo parte di queste questioni cercando di articolarle un minimo in modo non banale.
    L’impressione che ho, ma potrei sbagliarmi, è che alla fine tutto diventa un “perdere tempo” proprio nel momento in cui non sappiamo più cosa generare nel tempo che viviamo, e allora anche chiacchierare er radio sulla tecnologia o sentire un disco dei Clash può diventare “perdere tempo”, persono il sesso.
    Forse sarebbe il caso di rimettere al centro delle rilessioni il Chi in carne e ossa, o sociale, o narrato alla Ricoeur se vogliamo, diversamente la vedo veramente dura riuscire a dire (nel senso di indicare) evocare e convocare concetti capaci di far apparire la vita, tutto diventa virtuale, il “perdere tempo” come l’esperienza di nessuno.
