Se la pubblicità fosse veritiera, se le locandine dei film chiarissero le trame, se i loghi dei brand dicessero effettivamente a cosa servono i prodotti?
Sarebbe davvero divertente.
E’ questa l’idea alla base delle due gallery che vi propongo.
Se le locandine degli Oscar fossero oneste
La prima gallery è presa dal sito Uproxx che si è chiesto come dovrebbero essere modificate le locandine dei film candidati agli Oscar 2014 se chiarissero effettivamente il contenuto del film.
Girovagando in rete ho scoperto che questo tipo di editing è un vero e proprio genere (uno stile di cultura convergente per dirla con Jenkins) e di chiama – tanto per essere chiari – honest movie ed esiste nella versione posters che nella versione trailers.
Confesso che avrei voluto vedere la versione honest de “La grande bellezza”: magari se c’è qualcuno bravo con Photoshop che legge queste righe potrebbe essere ispirato.

Se i loghi dei prodotti fossero onesti
La seconda gallery fa riferimento ad un tumblr che si chiama Honest Slogans.
In questo caso il gioco è quello di dire a cosa davvero servono i prodotti venduti da alcuni famosi brand.
Anche perché se lo yogurt Activia dice che aiuta la naturale regolarità, la traduzione di questo eufemismo è piuttosto ovvia.
