Per chi si occupa di comunicazione e di fatti legati al web, la storia è piuttosto nota.
Per i pochi che non la sapessero è la seguente.

Sabato scorso il 24 gennaio 2015, il Ministro per i Beni Culturali Dario Franceschini e il Ministro delle Politiche Agricole e Forestali Maurizio Martina, in una conferenza stampa illustrano il progetto Very Bello, un sito (in alcuni momenti pomposamente definito “piattaforma digitale” ) che punta all’URL verybello.it e che raccoglie gli oltre 1000 eventi culturali diffusi per tutta la penisola in occasione di Expo2015.
L’interesse verso il progetto è tale che c’è già una voce su Wikipedia.

La questione è che il sito è pieno di errori, imprecisioni, limiti, superficialità e tutta una serie di problemi che hanno trasformato in poche ore l’hashtag #verybello in uno dei più leggendari epic fail della comunicazione pubblica in Italia.
Anche con una certa amarezza come rivela questo post di Massimo Mantellini.

Ci sono diverse testate e blog che hanno sottolineato quali siano gli errori del sito. Qui in basso ho fatto una collezione di queste osservazioni, anche perché credo che VeryBello diventerà un case study su cosa NON bisogna fare per comunicare la cultura online.

Una riflessione mi sento di farla: sarebbe stato meglio che il Ministro Franceschini avesse risposto con meno sarcasmo alle critiche giunte dal web (al netto dell’ironia gratuita) perché avrebbe potuto così valorizzare l’intelligenza collettiva della rete, secondo il classico principio che vuole le tecnologie del web 2.0 (e perciò anche i siti istituzionali) sottoposti al criterio del beta perpetuo.

L’impressione però che il sito sia stato rilasciato in fase Alfa 🙂

  1. Pienamente d’accordo su tutto, #verybello è una ridicola assurdità! Lasciami però fare la “precisina” della situazione: “Il ministro parla che…” non si può proprio sentire! Il verbo parlare è intransitivo! Potresti correggere con “Il ministro DICE che…” oppure con “Il ministro parla DEL FATTO CHE…”

    Scusami, scusami, scusami ma considerando che questo è un blog non mi sono riuscita a trattenere!

      Come puoi immaginare l’ho sottoposto a diverse revisioni e come spesso capita nel modificare una espressione sostituendola con un’altra ho creato il pasticcio.

  4. Semplicemente avvilente anche perché dovrebbe essere una vetrina importante e curata da gente esperta…
    Il mio ne avrà 100 di errori (che pian piano correggerò) ma per chi deve promuovere eventi di livello internazionale sono mancanze pesantissime anche perché si pensa che il ministero si affidi a persone competenti e non ai primi che capitano o ad autodidatti. Anche il collage dell’Expo è pietoso, frutto di un “lavoro” (tra virgolette) fatto sostanzialmente con i piedi ed in stato di ebrezza.
